VI.  INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

GT900can be applied to any clean, dry surface.  Remove all paint, construction contaminants, rust, and mill scale from metal or concrete surfaces.  Concrete shall have a profile of CSP-3 to CSP-5 meeting ICRI (International Concrete Repair Institute) guidelines for concrete coatings. Steel shall be prepared to SSPC-SP10 standards. (See Surface Preparation Guidelines)

Pre-mix Component A with a mechanical mixer making sure that any settlement has been re-dispersed.

Apply only when air and surface temperatures are between 50º and 100º F and surface is at least 5º above the dew point.

Depending upon substrate use recommended Safety-Grip primer.

Pour all contents of GT900 Hardener (Component B) into Component A.  Mix thoroughly for 3 minutes until Hardener (Component B) is totally incorporated.

Pour all mixed contents of GT900 on the surface in a ribbon 6 inches wide.  Use a Safety-Grip  phenolic core roller.  Install material by rolling in one direction only.  Pull material toward you in slow straight strokes with moderate pressure.  DO NOT OVER ROLL.

Do not thin material.

Allow to cure.  Curing time will be affected by low temperatures and high humidity.

VII.   SURFACE MAINTENANCE
Maintain a clean surface to ensure that the anti-slip safety performance of GT900 be maximized.  Safety-Grip recommends using a non-ionic, free-rinsing detergent using a scrub brush to remove contaminants.  Rinse with clean water and allow to dry. Periodic touch up may be necessary in heavy traffic areas.
VIII.   PERSONAL PROTECTION
EYE PROTECTION All personnel should be required to wear Safety goggles.
SKIN PROTECTION Utilize rubber gloves, boots, and full length clothing.

In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water.  Remove and discard contaminated clothing.  If skin irritation occurs, contact a physician immediately.

Maintain a portable eye wash fountain or a clean source of potable water in the immediate work area.

In case of eye contact, flush with water for a minimum of 15 minutes and seek aid at a medical center for treatment
IX.   SAFETY/HANDLING

Store all materials in original tightly closed containers away from sources of heat, flame and sparks.  Allow no smoking in areas of use or storage.  Use non-sparking explosion proof equipment.  Use only in well ventilated areas.  Supply a positive flow of fresh air when working in confined spaces.

Protect product from freezing and excessive heat.

Minimum shelf life is 5 years in original unopened containers.

Store in a dry area at temperatures between 50º and 90º F.
